Loyola Lodging at Baumhart Hall

Before booking your room, please read the information below to understand the booking process (you need to use a promo code when booking!) When you are ready to book, please visit the Loyola Lodging booking site.

 

Rooms must be paid for to complete the reservation process. Payment must be made via a single transaction, and cannot be split between multiple credit cards.

Steps for Booking

  1. Select your arrival and departure dates 

    • July 12-16 if you are arriving the day of the opening reception and leaving the day after the conference ends

    • Promotional code can be used for July 9-17

  2. ​Select the number of rooms you would like to book

  3. Select 'Baumert-Water Tower' as the location

  4. Enter 'gesture' in the promotion code box

  5. Click 'SEARCH'

You should now see a page that has four types of accommodations listed.

​

If you receive notification that there are no rooms of a certain type available, please reach out to loyolalodging@luc.edu as we have been told that we can increase the blocks of rooms reserved, pending interest from conference attendees.

Hotel Rooms/Apartments

A hotel room has 1 queen bed and a private bath. There are two hotel rooms within each apartment, which means you will share a common living space and kitchen with conference attendee(s) of the same sex. 

 

If you would like to share an apartment with a specific person or persons, you can book a Hotel Room (Gesture-HRM), and specify the name of the individual(s) you would like to share with in the Notes section. In order to house people together, BOTH bookings must specify who will be sharing an apartment.

If you reserve a Hotel Apartment (Gesture-HAPT), you are reserving BOTH hotel rooms within the shared suite.

Rates for Hotel Rooms/Apartments

  • Hotel Room - $186.67/night

  • Hotel Apartment - $304.07/night

Residential Rooms/Apartments (student dorm rooms)

A residential room (Gesture-RRM) has either 1 or 2 x-long twin beds (depending on whether you book for 1 or 2 guests) and a private bath. There are two residential rooms within each residential apartment, which means you will share a common living space and kitchen with one or more conference attendees of the same sex.

 

If you would like to share a residential apartment with a specific person or persons, you can book a Residential Room (Gesture-RRM), and specify the name of the individual(s) you would like to share with in the Notes section. In order to house people together, BOTH bookings must specify who will be sharing an apartment.

If you reserve a Residential Apartment (Gesture-RAPT), you are reserving BOTH residential rooms within the shared suite.

Rates for Residential Rooms/Apartments

  • Residential Room - $158.49/night

  • Residential Apartment  - $210.15/night

​

Once you have selected the number of rooms and guests, press "Add Selection" and then press the “PROCEED” button to continue. The button is located within a blue box in the top-right portion of the webpage. If the PROCEED button is not visible, you can either press the “Jump to top” link or scroll up to the top of the page.
