PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
Individual Oral Presentations and Symposia

Oral presentation sessions and symposia will last 75 minutes. Each presenter will have 12 minutes to present their talk and three (3) minutes for Q&A (in symposia sessions, the fifth talk slot is reserved for the discussant). Please observe time limits, as a courtesy to other presenters.

The meeting room will be equipped with a projector and screen.

You will be required to use your own laptop to connect to the LCD projector. HDMI cables will be provided. If you use a MAC or have a different connection, please provide your own adapters/dongles. We recommend testing your laptop during breaks in the schedule to ensure that all slides, images, and videos are working properly.

For ease of transition time, presenters may choose to load presentations onto one laptop, but this is not required.

Poster Presentations

Please note that poster presentation guidelines have been revised!

We ask that posters are no larger than 40 inches x 40 inches. Two posters will be presented per board. Boards are 8 feet (92 inches) wide and 4 feet (48 inches) tall. Thus, while each presenter has 4 feet (48 inches) of space, limiting the size of each poster to 40 inches wide will ensure a comfortable amount of space between the two posters that share a board. Push pins will be provided for you to adhere the poster to the board.

If you already prepared and printed a poster that is 48 inches wide, please let us know (isgs9conference@gmail.com) and we will work to accommodate your poster.
